I don't know if you follow the ponies or not, but Da Hoss won the Breeders' Cup sprint in 1997 then got hurt and was trained back with last year's sprint targeted as its first race back. The stewards insisted that the horse have a race before the Breeders' Cup and the trainer sent him out against a bunch of nags, and of course, he won. That horse then beat the best sprinters in the world last November after basically not racing at all for a year. Before the race I remember telling a buddy of mine that if Da Hoss won the race, the trainer should be instantaneously enshrined in the Hall of Fame. There's a good chance Parcell's will get in, but if wins this year they ought to cast his bust immediately.
