The GOP congress is responsible for the record-high deficits, three trillion in new debt in only 5 years and no end in sight. In fact according to fiscal conservative Senator Conrad from North Dakota Bush's deficits are getting worse, not better, and Bush doesn't even count the soaring war costs in his budgets. The entire war is all on the credit card. And Bush has not offered any endgame on that either. So we could be talking about an additional 7 trillion over Bush's 8 years.

In short, the GOP congress is responsible for stealing hundreds of billions for their corporate pals, adding trillions in debt the middleclass will have to pay off someday soon, and working with Bush to push our country toward eventual bankruptcy.

What we need is new honest leadership that tells us the truth, in the White House and congress.
