Why does it still surprise people that value investing, being a conservative -- minimize your down-side -- kind of discipline, does underperform during bull-markets? Isn't that a priori the deal you make when following such a strategy? To accept (ideally) slight underperformance during the ups in return for not losing money during the downs...
