Not to mention the stop limits that they blew through.

IN the old days the MM's used to be the only ones making the market, but not today, today you have active SOES traders who have wonderfull features such as ISLD, ARCA,TONTO , I can be the best bid or best offer if i so chose. I have out bid GOLDMAN SACS many times to buy this stock.

With holiday weekend upon us alot of market makers moved their bids and offers way outside the market, im sure they didnt even expect it to get to them. When the selling came in this morning , the active MM's simply moved below the guys who hadnt update or were outside and waited for the sells to trigger the decline. IMO. Because of the depressed sentiment im sure they also looked at the stop limit orders and said what the heck lets take her down. That's the advantage they have, seeing all the orders.
