does anyone just use the vix index in market directional analysis here ... would it be silly to have exposure to the market = to the % volatility of the vix index...i.e. if the index is at 25, have 25 % exposure to equities...last fall, the index went to 60...having 60 % exposure to equities sure would have been prudent, in hindsight of cours... ike
