Any Idea why Vastned has outperformed WHA by a large argon? Vastned focuses on premium shopping real estate a while ago, a strategy I liked (I excited nonetheless). I feel a comparison of Vastned and WHA would be valuable.

There exist both a Vastned Retail Belgium and a Vastned Retail nv. The latter has a 65% stake in the former and tried to take it over in April 2018 - to no avail. Could you tell me with more detail what outperformance you are referring to? All three companies have namely shown capital depreciation in the last 5 years: -20% for Vastned BE, -25% for Vastned Retail, and -60% for WHA (not including dividends).

Concerning the strategy of the Vastneds. Indeed they own the expensive commercial real estate in the famous shopping places (at least in the Netherlands). Unfortunately you are paying full price for it if you check their EV/EBITDA ratios on Yahoo Finance: for both Vastneds it hoovers around 20x. It is just as expensive as Wereldhave BE.

My latest foray into a melting ice cube was DXC. luckily, I saw the writing on the wall and excited with a small loss before the wheels really came off.

Do you mean DXC Technology Company ( DXC)? Wikipedia tells me a DXC was founded and went public in 2017 by merging Service Segment, a spinoff from HP Enterprises, with Computer Science Corporation.
