Hawk, I thought that this forum is for exchange of one's own opinions based on what we read elsewhere (not just Interent based news), what we watch on TV, what we hear on radio talk shows etc. etc.

No.. this thread does not exist merely for people to regurgitate the rambing illogic and bias of the rent-a-pundits..

Perhaps you failed to read my thread header:

I like to put ideas out there for public consumption which I feel are logically supported by facts. I WANT others to analyze my views and indicate other perspectives which I should incorporate. I hope others adher to the same belief that, only through debating with facts, not just rhetoric, we can all gain a better understanding of how Foreign Policy is influenced by various factors.

Thus, Chinu, by not bothering to perform even the most cursory research to document and support your beliefs, as well as your admission that your regurgitating other's people's opinions and claiming them as your own, you're proving to merely be a conduit for the rhetoric and diatribes of others..

I want YOUR ANALYSIS.. YOUR THOUGHTS.. YOUR RESEARCH..

Because I started this thread for a very selfish reason.. To have a forum for exposing my views and beliefs to public analysis and criticism of some of the keen intellectual minds that I've come to respect on SI. If my views can remain relatively "unimpeachable" or at least logically viable, then I can feel relatively certain that my views might lie somewhere close to actual reality.

I did not create it for people like you to regurgitate the unsubstantiated demagoguery of others. I did it because I want to attract people who think the same way about pitting their beliefs against those of others.

So if you can't hang with those basic rules, maybe you should just voluntarily bow out.
