Ian, Did you ever look at what these patents actually say and claim compared to the Intel ones? A lot of non tech writers just see some similarity and yap about problems for Intel. Remember Intel knew about the patent auction, knew about it's own patents and the other patents, had lots of money to be top bidder, and yet declined to compete in the auction. Intel has experts in these matters and even though I am not such an expert I tend to respect those experts who work in that field. Intel would not let them slip away if theye were a real prize. Of course, engineers have been asleep at the switch before, so I may be wrong. Bill
