Hi David, yes, I agree that the internet addiction support groups (though truly exist) sound like they would perpetuate the problem for most people. Besides, as I told Shalom, I can quit anytime I want to... :)
A little time, and proportionate number of words posted in these areas, can do as much good as excessive time etc. So I'll try to keep that in mind.
"A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." Pr18:24 ("... and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world" Matt28:20b ... and the end seems to be getting nearer at a faster clip...)
"Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel." Pr 27:9 And of course that goes hand in hand with Proverbs 27:17.
The fellowship we enjoy here, both with believers and unbelievers, is cherished.
