Luc:That observation is correct for 98 but not true when you factor the years of plenty that others have enjoyed and we are paying for now. Most Specialists are momentum players which involves heavy trading and little diversification. They are not in for any length of time and therefore can afford to issue BUY , hold and Sell to suit their strategies. They thrive by churning the market. Well we are now in the eye of the storm similar to the one in 74. I wish I could get to a site where I can view the data for 74 thru 78. That will give us a clue about possible extent of damage,recovery etc.
