Dear Jim: I dont know the answers. But my GUESS is that the HP sales are not what you think. I suspect that any site with HP equipment on it AUTOMATICALLY was run through HP even though they would have bought EMC storage equipment and software anyway. In fact, with HP getting their CUT it probably raised the prices and actually discouraged some EMC sales. Now, I would guess that everything will be FAIR GAME. So the bottom line is this. How does EMC stack up quality, dependability, wise? Price is a lesser consideration as EMC deals with INDUSTRIAL strenght storage which MUST NOT FAIL. So, if EMC has the best then I dont see why anything would change. JDN
