5 years with Linux. Used most Unix Workstations. Avoid KDE, hey fvwm works on suns to. I used to work in Consumer Electronics for Parker Brothers. (frogger, qbert, popeye, tutenkarmen) One of my jobs was to dupe every competitor's game. My test lab had two of every game system and almost every game. My group played the games, total, about 30 minutes a month. Our work was more fun than any game. My weird idea of a game is making Linux do what I want. I have little interest in games and I've written programs (gui) that have taken advantage of two displays. But they were not for games.

I use multiple displays to have more open windows in view at one time.
Two 1600x1200 desktops allow for up to four full size browser windows at one time. Comparing info from multiple sources is much easier. Also you can cut and paste text universally between all windows. I always cut and paste urls as a typo is annoying. My typing sucks.
