The award would include not only infringing CDMA patents but any portion of those patent claims used with GSM/GPRS/EDGE equipment.

You assume as a matter of fact that GSM uses Qualcomm intellectual property. Let's have a jury decide this issue (hopefully it won't be the same jury that decided the Broadcom case).

Every WCDMA based handset will probably have to use QCOM patents, at least for the next three or four years, until some of the basic patents have expired.

I see you have become a Qualcomm apostate because as you would well know if you were a Qualcomm supporter, Qualcomm's patents never expire.
