Rarely use trendlines, raff, standard error, Regression, channels but each requires the trend to be well in place before you might have good correction points to connect. Would you start a trend line on a daily change? a weekly change? hard to decide, they work better as a afterthought.

picking of a system is subjective, you fit to your mindset. But for lines I want automation like Gann Fans, fib extentions, etc. they remove some subjectivity, the more you remove the better
