well, my observations of today's atmel performance and that of sgs thompson (stm) leads me to believe this was nothing for atmel. However, i view the market as overly bullish and thus consider puts a valuable tool. Once the bulls stop buying, who will be left to buy the stocks?? Just saying this current bull market is purely manipulation, little guy buys high, sells at the bottom, puts prevent that, i recommend amat, when it made 4 a share, it was never at 70, now it only makes 2 and is at 70. sg (put protection will be good, however amat is my rec.)
