Tim,
Unfortuneatly, I didn't get your message until after I had left for the demonstration plant tour, which is strange because it looked like you submitted the post a half hour before I checked last (8:00 EST). So I wasn't able to get answers to your specific questions.

As I mentioned in my note to Mark, Rene Branconnier and Ed Kroeker were present at the site. They said that things were progressing on the Seattle and Skagit county sites, going through the process of obtaining environmental permits, building permits, acquiring land, and arranging for Industrial Revenue Bonds to finance the projects. Also, I learned that they were in Portland mainly to demonstrate their technology to the City of Portland and the DEQ in order to proceed with plans to build a plant in Portland as well! Portland does have a need for a Thermo Master plant. A couple of years ago, a company spent millions of dollars building a composting facility, using all the latest, state-of-the-art equipment. In a matter of months, the facility was shut down due to serious odor problems. So, the need for a waste processing facility is present in Portland, and Thermo Tech has just the technology that we need.

On the subject of Miracle Feeds, Ed Kroeker confirmed what Lionel said that Miracle Feed cannot get enough of what Thermo Tech produces. He said even if they built 200 plants across North America, the end product of these plants could only impact the market by 1 to 2%.

Rgds,
