He was really famous and he had more gold than Fort Knox. Of course, his fame went to the ends f the earth. That is why scholars are always coming across boastful documents from one his 1000 wives (or those whom knew these women) stating, “Guess what! My sister was married to King Solomon! THE King Solomon!!”

In the same way, one can hardly read an ancient author without encountering (yet again) ad nauseum, the story of how Samson ran down 1000 foxes and tied their tails together! Maybe “foxes” was a euphemism and somebody mixed up Samson with that world famous King Solomon?!
