If you oppose the "Patriot act" call it by its anagram:

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE AND TABLE OF CONTENTS.
(a) SHORT TITLE- This Act may be cited as the `Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism (USA PATRIOT ACT) Act of 2001'.

It's not Patriot, it's not patriotic, it's not uniting, it's not strengthening America, it's not appropriate tools, the tools are not all required, and Congress passed it on 10/24/2001 in a height of emotion, without reading it, because it is practically impossible to read. And those who voted for it will not acknowledge they didn't know what they were voting on.

I wish it just expired, and Congress took some time to decide what really is appropriate and required.

The Senate takes this up again early February.
