Well Joe, since the President as well as all the other politicians are elected out of the body politic I would think it logical that they would be a reflection of the body politic, no better and no worse. Lucky for us, it appears by the polls that the body politic understands that. They're all crooks so when one's caught we should let it slide? What did you think of Nixon? Send our children to fight and die??? I worked in the gulf war and Somalia not to mention a few other places. Everyone I worked with wanted to be there. They get paid, it's a job - don't got no more draftees Joe. These are professional soldiers. They like what they do. I know some ex-military who very nearly spit every time they say the name "Clinton." I know a current Air Force officer who says that money is not the main reason fighter pilots are quitting in droves. They're quitting because the don't like being sent over to Bosnia (for example) to risk their lives flying circles for six months in a meaningless mission and then coming home to their families for a only a month before being sent back. I know an ex-marine who says he'd throw up if he had to salute Clinton. The military is not happy with this joker. The Gulf War was under Bush, not Clinton, BTW. Somalia, where we provided our soldiers as practice targets for Somalian live-fire exercises, was also started by Bush.
