IRA cash? I am trying to understand how to best use idle IRA cash. For "long term" cash, investing in a MM fund (like VMFXX or others mentioned here) is possible -- and better than nothing. But I noticed that interest is paid monthly like a dividend -- with an ex-div date. It is not daily interest, like a bank. With no-load or trade fees, seems like it makes sense to move idle cash into a fund for a few days at month end. Is there a financial "game" to be played here?
