It's that way in most countries throughout the centuries. The same condition between nations (countries) of the dominant and the subservient colonies for the others.

But what I am seeing on google news about wealth gaps is not BETWEEN countries, but between the rich and poor of each country that is widening no?

I think the US was in a very unique circumstances in the 40's to the 80's, primarily boosted by the only manufacturing country after WWII.

Granted and a good point, switzerland also remained out of the war zone too right - nuetral - as did a few other places - did they have great growth because they were not wore torn? The US forgave a lot of war debt no - just wiped away the debt - do you see countries repaying the favor today? Also I though we nuked japan - they are the 2cnd greatest economy in the world - why did they do so well as a worn torn country and others did not - some tell me we gave a lot of MONEY to japan to rebuild their factories - even made their stuff better than our own - did we only do this for war torn japan and not other war torn regions?

Same scenario with how kids grew up in the 40's, 50's, etc to the 90's. There is no doubt, a greater percentage of those growing up in the 80's and 90's have much more spending power and more pampered, born with silver spoons. In the 50's and 60's, there were only a handful of high school students driving their own cars.

Agreed - this drastically changed teen dating patterns and family building dynamics and culture in America - my native american indian friend said he used to could ride up in a little small town in his truck and all the girls were so bored they hopped in a gave him lots of sex just for taking a ride mud bogging - but in the rich USA of today those small town girls have thier own BMW now and are very bored when he rides up on his iron horse. Good for the short term fun of the bored girls I guess - they are much more free - bad for the sex starved men like my friend and family building and thus a future tax base - hehe.

Today's high schools have to have parking lots large enough to accomodate parking for their senior students.

Another Good point. You are on a roll tonight! hehe
Phil Grandie commented on this - that his friends were leveraging thier house In sarasota florida so they could give princess a BMW in highschool and I remember at my high school in south georgia it changed a lot from everyone taking the bus or lots of people riding TOGETHER in one truck to lots of people having thier own car - this really DIVIDED community reinforcement I feel - from my viewpoint in ga - the sons still got treated like dirt while the daughters were given the BMW's and SUV's - daddy always took care of princess and the little boys were still wearing rags - why there was such an attack on the male gender in that town and such unfair distribution of cars and wealth from parents to daughters instead of sons is a mystery to me - I guess because little boys are TOUGH and should be happy for thier can of beans and salvation army clothes while princess gets the Red Lobster and BMW. Pathetic. My father just went into hock to give his granddaughter a bradn new 30K toyota celica GTS with all the fixins - 12 inch woofers - sport package - turbo upgrade - why a 16 year old girl deserves this and my father literally damaged his own retirement for this makes no sense to me. He pays her insurance, gas, cell phone and private school fees as well as mommas shopping machine lifestyle, but when does the credit spigot get shut off - when won't he be able to buy princesses ATTENTION anymore? Global rebalancing is gonna be bad for spoiled kids no? Good for snapping them back into reality I hope. He can't buy his medicine some months he is so BRAINWASHED that he MUST give princess EVERY WHIM AND DESIRE - is that crazy or am I just being a male pig again? If you know of any studies comparing wealth increase and expenditures on child western males to females over the years you are talking about I would be very interested in reading them, I want to be corrected if my perception that little princess in america has it much better than little tough son.

I had a guy from sri lanka start talking to me about yachts online one day - his dad owned some rubber tire company over there - supposed to be the biggest one in Asia - I said all I know is goodyear and michelin - he said you are a dumb american - we make all the rubber tires over here and I think they made pumps too - hehe - I said maybe - but we make all the dollars over here and no matter how much rubber you got - I will always have more dollars than you - he got really pissed about that - I sent him the link of greenspan and the printing presses

cyclesman.com

I told him when you can make tires as fast as greenspan makes money - get back to me - BWAHAHA!

I am all for competition, it will make spoiled bit**es like the bush daughters have to actually do something USEFUL to make it in this world - China will be good medicine for spoiled princess that parties til she pukes and lives la vida loca like a shopping machine. I am not against wealth, position, and privaledge - I am against people getting it for nothing and blowing it through stupidity. Gates says he is not giving his billions to his kids - he is helping the poor with his billions, I see something good in that. The people I have seen snort away million up their nose - pathetic.
