Janice............ Could be worse. You could be in....France<g> I already did check out your link! I don't get it. Duuuhhhhh! Actually it almost sounded "too real."<g> Did good today. I decided to play with the ...gasp!!...OEX. When it was tanked out this morning I bought a few CALLS at 709+. I kinda figured we'd get a "little" rebound. Who-da-thunk-it though. I must say I had a little DUMB LUCK on my side. I waited for "Greenspeak" to see how "exhuberant" he'd be. (I was betting that he'd back off a bit OR say nothing and cause no further damage.) Looks like he did the "latter". Anyway I was just trying for a little "point scalping" for some pocket money<G>, but by the time I actually got my trade in to sell my CALLs, the collars had come off and OEX was only down a couple after being down 18pts. YipYip YIPPEE!! I wish I could do THAT everyday. I don't usually even play with the OEX or the SPX, but I'm starting to think I may look at it closer. In the past when we had these days that started with a HUGE plunge it would come back and I'd always wonder what the best way to play it would be. I usually would sit it out. Better to do nothing than walk in front of a train<g> Going to rethink my stategy. I gotta go fix my profile. I put that Texas thing in there as a joke for Mr. Lawrence and I went back to fix it since he's seen it and I don't want to offend EVERYBODY (hell maybe I should and just get it over with al at once) Anyway I went into the edit profile and it was like yesterday. If I change ANYTHING it's gonna dump the whole page --AGAIN. Sob. So if you go and look over the weekend and nothings there, you'll know why. Jeff
