Case in point: AATT bigcharts.com The stock was trading at over $30- per share (like BEAS it sported a large PE and good long-term growth prospects). Then, the company made an announcement about slowing earnings. The next day the company's share price was cut in half (but finished up a few dollars from the low of the day). The following day the stock rallied a few more dollars but ended the day down. The next few weeks saw the stock drop to below $10 per share. We shall see. . .
