Watch out for rightwingers like Glenn. I don't know if he's really read any book by Obama, but notice the part he quotes has to do with cocaine use, something the GOP will use against him. I can tell you Glenn is 100% against Obama, and against democrats winning in 2008. So whatever Glenn opines or pretends to opine, that is probably just what the GOP wants you to think. This is also true of GOP talking heads on TV. If Obama were nominated, the GOP dirty tricksters would smear and slime him shamefully 24/7. They would use surrogates to do it and deny they have anything to do with it. But all their smears are organized in the RNC and office of Rove. They are not sure who they most want to run against in 2008, but Obama has their interest. If they can promote him, they can also cause a rift in the Dem party, accusing some of "racism" for not backing Obama. When of course they are the only racists. Because of what we saw them do to Harold Ford (a similar type candidate) I think it's best we wait on Obama. And I think he was stung by the racist anti-Ford ads too. Indeed, Obama is smart enough to know exactly what he'd be in for if he ran, and for that reason don't be surprised if he decides to wait until 2016
