I sure love the service they give you at SI! Quick response!

Dear The O:

Thank you for submitting your concerns regarding our pricing plans for IQC. Let me take this opportunity to clarify a couple of points.

For starters, in the short term, the only Premium service that we are planning to add with the acquisition of IQC is their IQ Chart product. Perhaps my very brief description of IQ Chart was a bit too brief as IQ Chart provides significantly more features and functionality than just real-time quotes. I encourage you to check it out at IQC.com. This is a service that already has several thousand subscribers, and we think it will appeal to a large percentage of the SI audience, although certainly not to everyone. It is also an expensive service to maintain, so the economics prevent us from giving it away to our lifetime SI members.

Specifically with respect to simple real-time quotes on SI (i.e. not the complete IQ Chart product) have a look at the following post which I put up a few weeks ago:

Finally, rest assured that as a Lifetime SI member, you will be able to enjoy all of the features and benefits that you currently have for...well...for the rest of your life. And, in fact, we have plans to add lots of new services - some for members only - that won't cost you a dime. Plus, we feel obligated to offer a set of premium services, which will always be optional, and whenever possible, we will also negotiate reduced pricing on behalf of our members.

I hope you view this as a fair business model, and I apologize if I created any confusion.

Yours truly...Bryan
