eBay is in that rare class of profitable Internet companies.

That said, eBay is expensive for a company whose growth will be DRAMATICALLY lower this year.

While this quarter will show their best growth, it will only be at about half the level of the same quarter last year.

eBay's best hope is to be acquired at a premium.
