Evening

Go to the SGI site that I moderate. There are several messages dealing with the delisting. Do a word search and am sure you will get something on this.

The simple answer is that SGI is still listed because they still have time to comply with the NYSE stock exchange rules.

Talk abounds about restructuring, bankruptcy and takeover of the company. Some people have even speculated SUNW buying SGI.

Restructuring was given 90 days from the time they brought on Alix Partners to help them-------note restructuring does not necessarily mean bankruptcy-------but restructuring to tighten the ship so to speak, renew old contracts and get new contracts---------and new financing----or prepare it for a takeover. Some have even speculated that it might go private or non-profit due to its defense work.
