Cloudless, it looks like misunderstanding. talking about arbitrauge opportunity, TraderAlan apparently meant SELLING to those "greedy newbies" who bid way above current market running ahead of themselves... I don't see in his comments anything personal or abusive to anyone. Greed is just definition of one of the emotions that astute trader uses for his advantage...
