This christmas I decided to try to do something christmassy(sp) with my kids and as they both needed to bring cookies to their school parties, I thought sugar cookies would fit the bill. Well I prepared the dough and rolled it out and prepared all the little sprinkles to put on them, the whole time thinking about how much fun it would be, and how nice it was at christmas to do these family things together. Well unfortunately the phone rang just as we started and when I hung up I looked up and there were sprinkles everywhere, they had cut out about 3 cookies each per square foot of dough and they were gone. I was left to make the other 100 for the party myself. Their idea of christmas was more along the lines of dreaming about the helicopter gocart and puppies that santa was to bring them.
