>>John, You have stated that you believe in free will. Do you then believe that it is possible to have a truly original thought? If so, why did it take man so long, after observing birds glide to a landing, to determine that the shape of the wing was important to giving the bird lift? Would we ever have come up with the concept of flight ourselves without countless examples in nature right in front of our noses?
John Galt does not believe in abiogenesis. He knows ideas may originate through the random interplay of events with ones own mind. It is, however, to the benefit of one's own mind, to have a more substantial knowledge base. However, Leonardo De Vinci, Ayn Rand, John Galt, and other such genius, are necessarily and clearly exceptions to the rule. |
