But ya know no matter how any of this gets historically placed, or spun ... one fact is clear: Had Carter been reelected America would be nowhere near where it is today. Why? 'Cause alternative energy sources would have gotten a fair shake and our dependency on foreign oil would be nowhere near as severe as it is today.
