Keep in mind that I have never used ANY version of IE.

Jeff if you were to use IE you'd feel right at home with it, the differences are very minimal. And yes IE has had the back & forward buttons all along. Also I'm very confident that Netscape downloaded one of the first copies of IE beta and are well on their way with the next version of NN. I think the thing about the browsers is we as humans are a creature of habit, so once you start with one of them you tend to stick with it because you're use to it...not that it is better. Like NN has an options button, in IE you get to option via the view button.
