Mr. Galanti said the VC were "torturing them to get them to say what they heard 'the American Naval Officer' (Kerry) say on the radio" !!!!!!!!!!! He didn't know it was Kerry then...just remembered the voice, and the way he pronounced Genghis Khan..... Then when he heard recently the voice of Kerry giving the Senate 1971 speech, he realized who it was that was the American they heard while POW's--it was John Kerry.

An old friend of mine and MOH winner, Jon Cavaiani, was a POW at the Hanoi Hilton. I haven't spoken with Jon in quite a long time, but he has explained to me in the past that the Hilton survivors are well organized. They remained that way to push for continued POW/MIA recovery efforts after they themselves were released and to assist MIA families. Mark Smith, an Infantry Officer, and DSC winner, and another former POW is also a friend of mine. Mark became a major leader in the continued recovery effort. Mark has been leveling charges against Kerry for abandoning POWs and MIAs for some 20 years.

Kerry became the chair of the Senate committee that over saw POW/MIA recovery efforts. He repeatedly hindered their operation and eventually attempted to declare all the MIAs dead.

Both Jon Cavaiani and Mark Smith are quite articulate and affable. Both would be great on TV.

I would not be surprised to see more Hilton Vets and other POWs come forward now.

Kerry and his handlers still do not have it figured out. The Swiftvet story is not about John Kerry and his medals. They may eventually wish it was that simple.

Simply put, this is about Honor and Integrity. America is going to have to decide who has it and who doesn't.

Kerry may get elected. But if he does, a helluva lot of Americans will be holding their nose in the poll booths because the stench of a lot of dead bodies of American POWs and MIAs is still hanging over John Kerry.
