The beauty of Yiwu is the insight she gives into Chinese culture -- you too, of course, and Jay, although from a different class. Jay's just faking it, whatever he thinks it will take to make him money and keep him out of trouble. Yiwu is sincere.

I wish we had some Japanese on SI, that would really make for some interesting commentary.

There are some Japanese on other websites I like, but they do seem to be very polite, unlike Chinese.
