How old is your dad? Sometimes when people get old they get victimized. I've seen a lot of that (I am a lawyer).

I am celebrating today because I finally got an 80 year old client on the plane to fly to live with one of his sons. I know the son will take advantage of him but not as bad as the women that have been sucking him dry, so bad he hadn't paid his mortgage in almost a year and was going to foreclosure. I got his house sold and the money where he can't touch it, but I will have to turn the money over to his son and hope the son does the right thing.

I don't know why they give their money away, but I think it's because they are lonely and afraid of being alone, and think this is the only way anybody will pay attention to them, and maybe they are right.

Sometimes they don't want help, at least to begin with, but if you keep the door open, the time may come. One old lady whose daughter was ripping her off to buy crack cocaine fired me but is now putting out feelers if I will help her. I am going to relax just a little bit first, this last guy wore me out, but I will do it.

(Oh, I also won a custody case, which is icing on the cake! Now if my arthritis will only calm down and let me sleep.)
