Yet I see plenty of evidence that government-sponsored bailouts do more to preserve the status quo than change it. Kind of useless to believe in better financial regulation and more balance of wealth if you end up preserving the status quo. Well I guess bush/paulson and now the Europeans are all full of shit according to your wisdom...I suggest you read sorkin's book "too big to fail" or watch the movie if you are pressed for time.
