Collaborative ASP Agreement to Promote VeriSign Digital Certificate Solutions
For a Broad Range of E-Commerce Applications
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- VeriSign, Inc., (NASDAQ:VRSN), the
world's leading provider of Internet trust services, today announced and Interpath Communications,
Inc., a network-based Application Service Provider (ASP), today announced the signing of a strategic
partnership agreement to integrate VeriSign's digital certificate services with Interpath's portfolio of
turnkey, network-based solutions. Digital certificates enable authenticated and encrypted
communications and transactions across private and public networks including the Internet.

Under terms of the agreement, Interpath will offer VeriSign's Standard and 128-bit SSL Web
site digital certificates to existing and prospective customers, currently numbering over 2,200
businesses. In addition, Interpath is the first application service provider (ASP) to secure access to its
hosted applications using VeriSign's OnSite(SM) managed digital certificate service. This solution
enables Interpath's 2,200 online business users to easily enroll for and utilize VeriSign digital
certificates to access their Web hosting accounts and to enroll for a broad range of Web hosting
services. VeriSign's digital certificate offerings will complement and secure Interpath's turnkey,
network-based services ranging from consulting and connectivity to business applications hosting.
