Sun has supported Intel with Solaris x/86 for many years - why should it be a surprise that they will support the next architecture when it comes out - every vendor who has pledged support for Merced (basically all the wintel vendors) is wetting their pants that NT wont be enterprise ready by the time Merced comes out - they know Microsoft's smoke and mirrors too well.
