Let's never forget that the Fed is a private business like any other entity in this free market. It just so happens that the FED and its puppet banks are the ONLY businesses backed by the Full Faith and Credit of the US Government.

Big Al, is fearful that he is loosing control of the monetary markets. Why, well we can thank the 'Internet' once again! The free flow of information was once reserved for the chosen few, now information is available at a moments notice and we as investors can decide the best place to gain the maximum return on our money.

Can we maximize our returns CD's or T-bills? Nope.

Can we maximize our returns in market equities? Hell Yeah!

The high return of equities require risk, and throughout time the FED has been rewarded handsomely fo taking the same risks we are willing to take on our own!

Due to the Internet and the free flow of info, "Big Al" sees his business dwindling and he has nothing but sharp words (a last gasp) to try and convince us that we are headed in the wrong direction. When the truth REALLY is that we're muscling in on his territory and that makes him uncomfortable.

Al, the sandbox is big enough for all of us to profit, so pass me a shovel and stop whining.
