G7 sees better outlook for non-inflationary growth
TOKYO, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Finance ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) rich nations said in a communique on Saturday that they saw improved prospects for non-inflationary growth in the world's major industrialised economies.

The statement was obtained by Reuters at the end of a meeting of G7 finance ministers and central bank chiefs.

The officials have met to ponder a brightening world economic picture but with discord over whose economy poses the biggest risk to that prosperity.

The G7 met as the U.S. economy roars toward a record-long economic expansion, Japan creeps out of its worst recession in half a century and Europe, too, enjoys an economic upturn.
