I asked for a SIGNIFICANT one. Paul, Microsoft Office98 isn't "significant"? It's funny... we have a word just like that on Earth -- it means important, or of consequence. What does it mean where you come from, Klaatu? How significant can that one be if Apple has dropped from 12% to 3 % Market Share? PCData reported that Apple's market share more than doubled from 4.1% in Q1 -- to 9.4% in Q2 ending June 98. Obviously, this doesn't even include "significant" figures from sales of iMac. If you really meant to say "installed base", your figures are still way off. BTW: If you don't know the difference between market share and installed base, either myself or others here would be happy to explain it to you. Maybe they'll all switch to iMACs - which will surely require a software upgrade. I like to respond to that... but I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
