Parenti and I would disagree with you about the accumulation of wealth by Christian churches. In many eras, accumulating wealth and property, in fact, seemed to be the only purpose the Church was serving.

That is proof of some sort that Christianity has real value. It has survived and in some ways is still thriving in spite of all the dirty doings of the churches and people who murder and rob in the name of Christianity.

For me, I would go further in extolling (real) Christian values.
