This seems like sound logic to me. However, I am just curious if you or anyone knows of any studies which would support it. The reason I am curious is that I have used this "logic" in the past and been burned. (CSCO) Likewise, I have seen insider selling and in hindsight,
seen that it was a warning. (Adobe)

My experience is that insider selling in techs is not a reliable indicator of impending "doom" as most would think it would be.
