I agree with you 100% that if there were to be found life on other planets it wouldn't change my beliefs either. Being a geologist this story really had my interest. They did interview a couple of ministers who seemed to be horrified that there could be life elsewhere. I don't know where they dug these guys up. The Bible does say that "God created the heavens and the earth", therefore he created it all.
