Analog Devices To Sell High- Speed Modem Chipset In Dec.
NORWOOD, Mass. (Dow Jones)--Analog Devices Inc.'s (ADI) high-speed modem chipset will be available in December to lead customers for $80.
In a press release, the company said the asymmetric digital subscriber line chipset transmits data over standard voice telephone lines 200 times faster than modems currently in use.
The company said this technology also transmits data and voice information over conventional phone lines at the same time.
Analog Devices manufactures integrated circuits used in analog and digital signal processing applications.
