i am just saying that it does nothing for me! if it is your appetite and you can make money with it then go for it. although the academics rarely have anything useful to say about the real world, they have made some contributions on the exclusive study of marketplace price and volume data for clues to the future.

frankly there is so much darn luck in any gambling game that the only way to win is to position oneself to be able to exploit the few opportunities that come one's way.

let's face it the basics of any equity issue rarely change significantly more frequently than quarterly. there are some who believe that evidence of insider accumulation or dispersals are reflected ahead of the news in movements in price and volume. perhaps. sometimes maybe.

i am not so foolish that i believe every one else is a greater fool. but one must admit that things that tend to happen tend to happen - until they stop happening!

whenever i meet somebody who claims to be able to predict the future - turning points especially - my response is please tell me when. the day and hour. then let's see how often you are right. better than flipping a coin? in the long run - 3 to 5 years?

if you have the religion then go for it. these are issues i do not contest. but there is much to be said for considering alternatives. i have a whole bookshelf on ta. never did much for me except keep me fascinated with the ingenuity of the authors.
