Scotsman, I completely agree. The whole of the telco's has been down after the WCOM/FON news. No doubt the money will return after we get final confirmation.õ

Actually, the index funds will need to buy quite a bit of Q. According to Prudential Securities strategy group, USW is currently a .3% weighting on the S&P500. The merger will make it a .6% weighting as the market cap will roughly double in size. They estimate that some 61 million shares will need to be bought by index funds....the bulk of which will not occur until closing of the deal in a week or so. IMO the Sprint deal breaking down was a major factor in the recent price weakness and shares should be bought aggressively at these levels.
