Hey, lighten up, Tony T., I was sympathetic to Robert's point. I was thinking about that last night...the notion that you can't be diversified if you are in one supposed "sector". Some things in the same sector are so dissimilar that it is diversification in my opinion. APCC makes power protection, Corel sells little CD's with proprietary software packages (graphics, word processing), Data Race sells not only modems but "telecommuter solutions", Cirrus sells chips. Yeah, I guess if the whole world stops using computers then the tech sector will really be screwed but then again this is the silicon investor so I presume people here are comfortable discussing tech stocks. If you would like to point me to the forest products thread I'm all (yawn) ears. My main point was that I sleep well at night owning APCC, it's the rest of my portfolio that keeps me awake. Two because I am watching them unfold upwards, I might add.
