Dick White, Good Question... AT&T, for one, FREE 5 hours a month!

When AT&T rolled out it's internet service they offered (STILL DO) 5 hours free per month to it's AT&T customers.. If your not AT&T it's $5 for 5 - i believe... If your a heavy user you can upgrade to $19.95... It's faster to boot! I will agree many like the turnkey of AOL!

The next big pull will come from Cable modems! When that finally rolls! the speed will be so substantial AOL won't be able to touch it!

Point is.. If your right, and people switch to the 9.95 program.. That's NOT VERY PROFITABLE for AOL.. Although there is always the advertising avenue - which seems be little utlized so far!
