I don't use Galeon that much myself, but it has some nice features such as: - Better HTML and HTTP compliance. Uses the Gecko rendering engine known from Netscape 6, but the browser is much faster. - More secure and easier to update/upgrade - Can use tabbed windows mixed with SDI interface. It even can move an existing tab to another SDI window if you like. - Integrates search buttons etc. in bookmark system. Bookmark system is very cool, very easy to use and feature rich. And since we talk Linux, all users of course have their own bookmarks and keep their bookmarks even if the OS changes. - Integrated portal is very popular amongst its users. It contains your bookmarks, often used bookmarks etc. - Very easy to use facilities to administer security issues like cookies, display of popup windows etc. - Zoom - Runs on Linux, Solaris, Unix etc. Maybe also Windows, but Gnome applications are unstable on Windows.
